College of Veterinary Medicine Holds an Educational Seminar Entitled “Gender Justice and Its Implications for Family Solidarity”

The Women's Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, held an educational seminar entitled “Gender Justice and Its Implications for Family Solidarity”, delivered by Asst. Lect. Dhuha Hazim Hamad on Monday, 8 December 2025.

The seminar addressed the concept of justice between men and women within the family, and the role of each in building a system of social solidarity in accordance with ethical and human values. It also stressed that justice does not mean absolute equality, but rests on balance, fairness and complementarity in responsibilities and duties, contributing to family stability and the strengthening of social bonds.
