The College of Veterinary Medicine held a workshop entitled "Global Afforestation" as part of its scientific activities aimed at raising environmental awareness and supporting sustainable initiatives.

The workshop was presented by Lect. Dr. Sarmad Jabbar Jaleel, who addressed in his lecture the importance of afforestation in mitigating climate change and its role in improving air quality and preserving biodiversity, as well as its positive effect in supporting environmental balance and limiting desertification.

The workshop aimed to spread the culture of tree planting among students and teaching staff and to show the importance of community participation in increasing green spaces, given their direct effect on improving the environment and public health.
