The College of Education for Girls begins implementing a volunteer campaign led by the University of Shatrah across its formations, as part of the humanitarian initiative (My School).
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abd Al-Ghazi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktouf, the College of Education for Girls began implementing a field volunteer campaign as part of the humanitarian initiative (My School), launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the aim of supporting schools and enhancing the educational process in the areas of Al-Shatrah District.
The campaign was launched with a field visit, headed by the Dean of the College, to a school in the Hawi Al-Abbas area, with the participation of a select group of female faculty members, staff and students, and accompanied by the official in charge of the Student Activities Division. School supplies and incentive gifts were presented to the pupils amid a humanitarian atmosphere full of interaction and joy.
A large number of faculty members and administrative staff contributed to this work through personal initiatives, as an expression of the spirit of solidarity and national belonging, in a scene reflecting the bond between the University and the local community.
At the conclusion of the campaign, the Dean, Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktouf, expressed her pride in this activity, stressing that such initiatives embody the College's mission of serving the community, spreading a culture of giving and social responsibility, and promoting the spirit of active citizenship among students and University staff.
