When Sha'ban Is Adorned with the Light of the Muhammadan Moons

Greetings from Asst. Prof. Dr. Safaa Hussein Ali

Dean of the College of Education – University of Shatrah,

who extends his warmest congratulations and blessings on the advent of the blessed month of Sha'ban, the month of light and fragrant births.

A month in which the moons of guidance appear and the lights of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) shine:

In it was born Imam Al-Hussein (peace be upon him), the symbol of sacrifice and immortality,

In it was born Imam Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him), the voice of supplication and patience,

In it was born Abu Al-Fadhl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the Moon of Banu Hashim and the emblem of loyalty,

In it was born Imam Al-Mahdi, the Awaited (may God hasten his reappearance), the hope of humanity and the glad tidings of divine justice.

We ask the Almighty Lord to make this virtuous month a month of goodness and blessing,

to grant everyone success in following their blessed path,

and to hasten the reappearance of the Imam of our time.
