Almighty Allah says: "And say: Work, for Allah will see your work, and so will His Messenger and the believers."

The College of Engineering at the University of Shatrah was founded in 2023 to be a distinguished academic institution and an active partner in raising the quality of education and providing a creative university environment built on creativity and interaction, by adopting national and international standards of educational quality and developing its plans and curricula in line with global developments to meet the needs of the local, regional and international community. This is the highest goal the college has been keen to pursue, so as to contribute to developing and shaping generations and to qualify the college's graduates to face the changes of the labour market and to continue their future careers.

The College of Engineering comprises the Departments of Computer Engineering and Materials Engineering, and many laboratories equipped with the latest technologies and modern equipment that help students and researchers carry out research and studies. The college works hard to serve society and the engineering profession by providing consultancy to the private and public sectors, offering specialised courses and workshops, holding conferences and seminars, and taking part in scientific forums at home and abroad.​

In taking on the leadership of the college deanship, we seek to adopt several aims, including that our college should leave a distinctive mark by advancing engineering as a pioneering scientific field among the various sciences, through a focus on the quality of scientific content, the use of modern teaching methods and the adoption of learning as the basis of education, in addition to attention to engineering creativity so as to take part in finding quality solutions to society's problems and contributing to solving them. The deanship also seeks to adopt twinning with reputable universities and to focus on sound scientific research in order to raise the level and standing of the college among comparable international and local colleges.
