College of Applied Medical Sciences

The College of Applied Medical Sciences at the University of Shatrah is one of the specialised scientific colleges that seeks to prepare qualified applied medical cadres with the scientific knowledge and practical skills needed to serve the health sector and the community. The college aims to provide sound academic education that combines theory and practice, keeping pace with scientific and technical developments in the applied medical fields.

The college comprises a number of specialised scientific departments and works to provide a suitable learning environment supported by modern laboratories and equipment, in addition to adopting modern curricula that help develop students' abilities and prepare them for the labour market. The college is also keen to support scientific research and to encourage faculty members and students to publish and take part in scientific activities, thereby strengthening its academic standing at both the local and national levels.

The College of Applied Medical Sciences is committed to its mission of serving the community by graduating competent medical staff, contributing to raising health awareness and supporting health institutions, in line with the vision of the University of Shatrah of achieving quality and excellence in higher education.

It was established in 2023 and comprises three scientific departments: Pathological Analyses, Medical Physics and Forensic Evidence.
