The President of the University of Shatrah, Professor Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Jar Allah Al-Ghazi, received in his office today, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Professor Aqeel Al-Qara Ghouli, member of the Dhi Qar Governorate Council and Chairman of the Security Committee in the governorate.
During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were discussed, and the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination between the university and the local government was emphasized, which contributes to supporting the educational and academic process and enhancing the university’s role in serving the community, in addition to discussing issues that would contribute to achieving the public interest of Dhi Qar Governorate.
For his part, Mr. President of the University stressed the keenness of the University of Shatrah to strengthen cooperation with government institutions in the governorate, in line with the university’s orientations towards openness to various official bodies and strengthening institutional partnership.
