The University of Shatrah, represented by the Director of the Department of Media and Government Communication, M.M., participated. Hammoud Zuhair in the proceedings of the First Forum for University Media and Government Communication, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and hosted by the Central Technical University, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in the presence of the Director of the Department of Media and Government Communication at the Ministry, Prof. Dr. Nada Al-Abidi, representatives of government universities, and a number of specialists in the fields of media and institutional communication.
The university's participation stemmed from its interest in developing the university media system and enhancing institutional communication, in line with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in establishing the principles of effective government communication and improving media performance in higher education institutions.
The forum also included a dialogue session that addressed the latest practices in university media, government communication strategies, digital content management, and building institutional identity, as well as discussing ways to employ modern media to support the mission of universities and highlight their scientific and academic achievements.
