A teacher at the College of Education for Girls and a member of the master’s thesis discussion committee at Al-Qadisiyah University.
Within the framework of enhancing academic cooperation and scientific exchange between Iraqi universities, Assistant Professor Dr. Maitham Aziz Thajil Al-Hilali, a teaching assistant in the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education for Girls / University of Shatrah, participated as a member in the discussion committee for the master’s thesis of the researcher (Saba Aziz Abdul Hussein), in the Department of History / College of Education - Al-Qadisiyah University.
The message was discussed:
“Maritime geographical thought in the Abbasid era 132 AH - 656 AH”
The discussion committee consisted of distinguished professors:
1. Professor Dr. Zuhair Yusuf Aliwi - Chairman.
2. Assistant Professor Dr. Maitham Aziz Thajil Al-Hilali - Member.
3. Assistant Professor Dr. Walid Muhammad Ali - Member.
4. Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Raouf Jabr - member and supervisor.
5. Professor Dr. Jamil Abdel Hamza - member and supervisor.
The discussion witnessed an extensive scientific dialogue, during which the committee addressed the topic of the thesis with research and analysis, and the committee members presented a set of scientific observations and solid recommendations that contributed to enriching the research and enhancing its scientific value.
After extensive discussion and the researcher’s defense of her thesis, the committee recommended accepting the thesis and granting the researcher a master’s degree with a grade of (very good).
This scientific participation comes as confirmation of the effective scientific and academic presence enjoyed by the teachers of the College of Education for Girls / University of Shatrah, and their continuous contribution to scientific and research forums, which strengthens the bonds of academic cooperation between Iraqi universities and supports the process of scientific research.
